Description
Ironshell ymirlings are twisted, humanoid variations of the standard chuul, standing upright with a grotesque, crab-like posture. Their thick, armored shells are decorated with mismatched pieces of scavenged armor, giving them the eerie appearance of mock soldiers. Sharp, chitinous claws extend from their arms.
Despite their monstrous nature, ironshell ymirlings have
a bizarre, almost parodic sense of military discipline,
marching with stiff precision and mimicking the behavior
of actual soldiers.

Tactics
Ironshell ymirlings fight with calculated ferocity, using their armored shells and scavenged gear to close the distance with their enemies. They often attack in formation, flanking or surrounding their targets to prevent escape. Their powerful claws are used to grapple and hold down opponents, opening them to their Tentacle attack. As soon as an enemy is paralysed, they use whatever weapon they hold to deliver the coup de grace.
